The BOB Revolution 12" AW stroller is the most adaptive, versatile stroller for the urban family. What is truly "revolutionary" about the stroller is the pivoting front wheel that swivels for nimble and agile movement. The Revolution turns on a dime, but the innovation does not stop there. The front wheel can lock into a fixed position for jogging or off-road use.
The strong, welded frame is made of aircraft-grade aluminum alloy that is lightweight and durable—weighing 21.9 pounds. The padded, stain-resistant seat is soft and cushy, reclines up to 70 degrees from vertical, and has the standard five-point harness to provide maximum stability and comfort. The full sun canopy provides ample shade and protection from the elements for your little passengers. The canopy window allows you to keep an eye on baby as well. The suspension system sports three-inch coil springs with an elastomer core and two settings for bigger and smaller children, and it has 12.5-inch semi-slick, all-purpose tires. The smaller tires make for a more maneuverable and compact stroller for use in tight spaces. The wheel rims are aluminum alloy with stainless steel spokes, and the hubs feature a quick release axle and sealed cartridge bearings. The caliper handbrake slows the stroller with ease, while the foot-activated "parking brake" is simple and handy. Storage is not a problem with twin interior seat pockets, a large below-seat storage basket, and a deep seatback pocket. The two-step fold can be done in one motion, and the lightweight frame makes it portable and stowable. Removing the wheels decreases the height and length when storage space is limited. The handlebar height is 40.6 inches, and the wheel base is 25.4 inches in swivel mode or 30.9 inches in jogging mode.
The stroller is ideal for urban spaces and terrain, and the ride and styling can only be described as luxurious. The smartest feature by far is the ability to switch from a pivoting to a locked front wheel that allows the BOB Revolution stroller to be one of the most versatile and maneuverable strollers available. BOB recommends that children be at least eight weeks old before riding in the stroller and at least eight months old before jogging. The Sport Utility stroller has a weight capacity of 70 pounds. --Scott Teal
